In 1984 a group for senior parishioners, called "The Friendship Group" and a Committee was formed to mix and make new friends. There are over 60 members who meet every Tuesday during school terms. Members are encouraged to take an active part in planning and organizing the events for the group.
We have Guest Speakers, Theatre outings and day trips. Members are a source of help and comfort to each other especially in times of ill health and bereavement.

| St. Andrew's Fete
|
The Fete plays a main part in the financial upkeep of our parish. It had been running for the past many years under the leadership of Daniela Anderson.
Last year Fete was run by the Fete Committee with Phil Dodin in charge and raised in excess of $27,000. This excellent result was achieved through the tireless efforts of a number of parishioners, who freely gave their time and talent.
The fete was well attended with the rides and amusements attracting many visitors. The food stalls were a great success with many different delicacies on offer and catered for all palates.

Andrewcare was set up in 1996 to enable us as a Community to reach out in times of need. We would like everyone to know there is help available to them when necessary. Our volunteers are ready to get meals prepared, arrange transport in an emergency and organise companionship for sick/isolated people as required.
St. Andrew's Cancer Support Group was formed in 1989. Anyone, regardless of race, colour or religion who faces a life threatening or degenerative illness or any pain related complaint could join our group. | Parish Pastoral Team
|
|
The Parish Pastoral Team has members working together to help our priest in the running of the parish. The Team meets on the first Thursday evening of each month and sub-committees work on specific aspects of parish life.
Once a year, the team spends an evening together getting acquainted over dinner, and then spend the following day working out how to best serve the parish over the next twelve months. Photos of the Parish Pastoral Team and information from the meetings are displayed in the church.
Please feel free to contact anyone in the Team with questions, suggestions, comments, etc.
